DIARY FROM THE ROAD
Who says you can’t trade a paperclip for a house
Do you need a reason to visit Saskatchewan? I did.

Hearing about Saskatchewan's Biggest House Warming Party Ever, I knew I had to go. Who's house warming party was it, you ask? It was Kyle MacDonald's, and the party was in honour of his online trading trek from One Red Paperclip up to a house at 503 Main Street, Kipling, Sask.

Having invited the entire world to visit Kipling, my brother, father and I packed up a rental car, preparing to drive the 60 hour round trip over the Labour Day weekend to meet the man who made this all possible. I made a few trades along the way as well. This is my video.

The best part of small town Saskatchewan is the open, friendly people you can meet there. If you find yourself in Saskatchewan, take some time to visit Kipling and the giant Paperclip.

And bring something to trade!
