VON Hamilton provides Shopping By Bus, a free bus service for tenants in senior’s apartment buildings to get groceries. Volunteers travel on board and help the seniors in the store if needed. For information and bus schedules 905-522-0053.
Grocer-Ease, a non-profit grocery shopping service administered by Banyan Community Services, allows seniors and physically challenged persons in Hamilton to shop from home. Nominal fees with assistance to help putting the items away if needed. 24 hours notice is required. 905-545-1175.
